Overview of product performance and technical characteristics

The catalyst BCS02 is a slurry feed, gas phase, efficient Ti-series carrier type all density ethylene polymerization catalyst with an average particle size of 20-25μm, suitable for Unipol gas phase polymerization process for producing various injection, extrusion and blow molding all density PE products.

It has been applied in many domestic units using Unipol gas phase polymerization process for long periods.

The catalyst has a list of technical characteristics as below.

Catalyst activity ≥8×103g﹒PE/g﹒cat (2L polymerizing pot, slurry polymerization for 2h at 80˚C, the pressure ratio of hydrogen and ethylene: 0.28Mpa:0.45Mpa);

Excellent hydrogen modulation ability;

Excellent copolymerization performance;

High polymer bulk density;

Good polymer particle shape, narrow distribution of particle size and less fine powder;

Hardly sticky-turning dry polymer with good flowability.
