Overview of product performance and technical characteristics
The catalyst BCE-S is a BCE slurry polymerization catalyst, which overcomes catalyst particle clump to improve catalyst performance. The catalyst BCE-S is an efficient Ti-carrier ethylene polymerization catalyst with internationally leading combination property, suitable for the unit using slurry polymerization process such as Mitsui CX, Innovene S and Hostalen process for producing various high densities PE, especially various high value-added PE. The catalyst has been applied in the domestic low pressure ethylene polymerization unit using Mitsui slurry polymerization process for long times to produce many high valueadded PE. The catalyst has a list of technical characteristics as below.
Catalyst activity ≥3.3×104g﹒PE/g﹒cat (2L polymerizing pot, slurry polymerization for 2h at 80˚C, the pressure ratio of hydrogen and ethylene: 0.28Mpa:0.45Mpa);
High hydrogen modulation sensitivity;
Excellent copolymerization performance;
Less low polymer production;
Higher polymer bulk density;
Good polymer particle shape, narrow distribution of particle size and very less fine powder;
Excellent polymer properties.
