Overview of product performance and technical characteristics

The catalyst BCE-C is an efficient Ti-series carrier type ethylene polymerization catalyst with internationally leading combined properties developed from catalyst BCE, suitable for the units using slurry polymerization processes such as Mitsui slurry polymerization and Hostalen slurry polymerization processes for producing chlorinated polyethylene special resin without screening device. The catalyst has been applied in the low pressure ethylene polymerization units using Mitsui slurry polymerization process for long periods to produce high value-added chlorinated polyethylene special resin such as YEC-5505T, etc. The catalyst has a list of technical characteristics as below.

Catalyst activity ≥3.3×104g﹒PE/g﹒cat (2L polymerizing pot, slurry polymerization for 2h at 80˚C, the pressure ratio of hydrogen and ethylene: 0.28Mpa:0.45Mpa);

Excellent hydrogen modulation sensitivity;

Excellent copolymerization performance;

Less low polymer production;

High polymer bulk density;

Narrow distribution of polymer particle size and less large size particle and fine powder;

Easily chlorinated polymer and excellent properties of chlorinated product.
