RIC series catalyst

Overview of product performance and technical characteristics：

RIC series catalyst is the catalyst developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP) to improve the cetane number of inferior diesel fraction (especially the light cycle oil from FCC unit) and decrease the density of diesel fraction. This series catalyst includes RIC-1, RIC-2, etc., and possesses high aromatic saturation activity, selective ring-opening activity, high desulfurization and denitrogenation activity as well as high diesel yield.

This catalyst is used to upgrade the inferior diesel fraction, which can improve the cetane number of diesel by over 8-12 units, decrease the density of diesel and produce clean diesel with S≤10ppm. It can be used not only as hydrotreating catalyst in the single-stage hydroprocessing process but also as hydrocracking catalyst in the two- stage hydroprocessing process.
