Overview of product performance and technical characteristics

Catalyst 3963/FC-18 is a special MCI technology catalyst developed by Sinopec Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemical, featured in high mechanical strength, high hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenetion ability and excellent reactivity. Its pore structure is advantageous for diffusing polyaromatic hydrocarbon and restraining chain-breaking cracking reaction, resulting in polyaromatic hydrocarbon saturation, ring opening, and 15% higher aromatics saturation activity, compared with common

hydrorefining catalysts. The catalyst 3963/FC-18 can be used for hydrotreating inferior FCC diesel under middle pressure to improve cetane number 10-14 units and the diesel yield over 95%.
