Overview of product performance and technical characteristics：

RVS-420 catalyst is a new generation VGO hydrotreating catalyst with Co-Mo as active components developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP) for replacing RMS-1 catalyst. This catalyst has the features of high HDS activity, good stability, low reaction hydrogen consumption and small bulk density. When used to hydrotreat the high sulfur VGO feedstock under mild hydrotreating conditions, this catalyst is capable of reducing the sulfur content of VGO feedstock to 2000g/g or 1000g/g, or even lower, providing the high quality low sulfur feedstock for FCC process. RVS-420 has a strong feed stock adaptability and displays good hydrotreating effect for high sulfur VGO, deep cut VGO, coker gas oil (CGO) and aforementioned mixed feedstock as well as the feedstock with deasphalted oil (DAO) blended.

RVS-420 catalyst is suitable for FCC pretreatment to provide high quality feedstock with low sulfur content for FCC process. The catalyst can be used independently or in combination with other VGO hydrotreating catalysts to achieve a better hydrotreating effect and longer cycle life.
