PRT series semi-regenetive reforming catalyst

PRT series semi-regenetive reforming catalyst

Overview of product performance and technical characteristics:

PRT series catalyst is the new generation multi-metal strip extrudate semi-regenetive reforming catalyst developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP), including PRT-A, PRT-B, PRT-C, and PRT-D. The high purity alumina with good mechanical strength, low impurity content, and appropriate pore structure is used as the carrier. And an optimized metals formulation with a proven promoter and innovated impregnation technique are employed in the finished catalyst. Hence, PRT series catalyst exhibit higher selectivity, better stability and enhanced coke resistance.

PRT-A and PRT-C are balanced catalysts, PRT-B and PRT-D are skewed catalysts, which can be of combined utilization or be independently used. Compared with PR series catalyst of the previous generation, the conversion and liquid yield of PRT catalyst are 5% and 1% higher, the coke make is 18% lower. The activity, selectivity and stability of the catalyst all reach the top level in the world. PRT series catalyst exhibits good regeneration performance. Notably, the catalyst has very good processing flexibility to different feedstock including lean straight naphtha and coker naphtha. Currently, PRT series catalyst has been used in 30-plus industrial reforming units at home and abroad.
