RHC-131 hydrocracking catalyst

RHC-131 hydrocracking catalyst

Overview of product performance and technical characteristics:

RHC 131 catalyst is the hydrocracking catalyst developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing(RIPP)newly taking advantage of the latest innovations in materials science to improve the raw materials (amorphous silica-alumina or zeolite) used. Improvements have also been made in catalyst characterization and manufacturing that have enabled quick commercialization of the catalysts.

RHC-131 catalyst is the 3rd generation hydrocracking catalyst developed by RIPP. RHC-131 is a butterfly catalyst with Ni-W as active components. The catalyst has the advantages of high selectivity of middle distillates and good product quality. When processing VGO or the feed mixed with CGO, middle distillates yield can be up to 45-57%, jet kerosene can reach No. 3 Jet fuel standard, diesel can meet with European V standard. As for the quality of unconverted hydrocracked residue (also called unconverted oil, UCO), the paraffinicity can be up to 50-73%, BMCI value is low (6-10), the viscosity index is as high as over 140 when the yield of tail oil is 20%- 40%. The catalyst can be used for hydrocracking unit with heavy VGO as feedstock, especially the unit in need of high yield of middle distillates and low BMCI value UCO.
