GCR series continuous reforming catalyst

Overview of product performance and technical characteristics:

GCR series catalyst is the continuous reforming catalysts developed by Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP) with high activity and hydrothermal stability. Activity of this catalyst is higher than that of previous generation catalyst at home and abroad, equivalent to about 6-8℃lower reaction temperature. Furthermore, new catalytic material allows improved capability anti high temperature hydrothermal treatment, and slow specific surface area loss, and thus the service life doubles, and the economy of catalyst increases. Chloride retention property is enhanced so the chloride injection quantity in the system is reduced by 1/2 and thus greatly reduces the chloride corrosion to downstream unit. Furthermore, the mechanical strength is improved, the attrition resistance is good, and the dust quantity created during circulation and transmission process is reduced. The regeneration activity can be recovered to the level of fresh catalyst.

Among GCR series continuous reforming catalysts, GCR-100(PS-V) catalyst is of low platinum content, the platinum content of GCR-100A(PS-IV) is slightly higher. The GCR series continuous reforming catalysts are applicable to the reforming processes for production of high octane gasoline, aromatics and hydrogen with feedstock of straight run naphtha, hydrocracking heavy naphtha, cracking gasoline, coker naphtha, FCC naphtha condensate oil, etc.
