Overview of product performance and technical characteristic

CTP series palladium carbon catalyst is researched and developed by SINOPEC Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology, it is a load type hydrofining catalyst, and is used to refine the terephthalic acid feedstock and produce the fine terephthalic acid(PTA), and its integrated property has reached the advanced level in the world. The technical characteristic of the series catalyst is below.

The precious metal (palladium) has the good dispersion property, and is especially appropriate for hydrogenation reaction of 4-CBA in terephthalic acid.

The thermal stability is good, the poison (sulfur) resistance is strong, the mechanical stability is high, the operation flexibility is high, and the hydrogen consumption is low.

The TA treatment capability per unit weight catalyst is high.

The catalyst has the strong hydrogenation capability to other foreign pigments, and B value of PTA is low.
