Overview of product performance and technical characteristics

Researched and developed by SINOPEC Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology, HAT toluene disproportionation series catalyst is applicable to benzene and xylene production process with toluene and C9/C10 aromatics as feedstock. As the allowable feedstock space velocity can be continually raised, the hydrogen to hydrocarbon ratio continually dropped, the capability of processing heavy aromatics and boosting C8 aromatics production continually enhanced, it can satisfy various needs of constant capacity expansion and renovation, energy saving and consumption drop of industrial unit, as well as the development trend and technical demand of densification of feedstock. Wherein, HAT-097 catalyst has good performance and mature technology, and has been widely used in the industrial units at home and abroad; HAT-099 catalyst has the outstanding heavy aromatics treatment capability, and the advantage for production increase of C8 aromatics is apparent. The main technical characteristics of this series catalyst are as below.

High feedstock space velocity, low hydrogen to hydrocarbon ratio, high conversion rate, stable performance,and high benzene purity.

HAT-099 catalyst can remarkably raise the C10 heavy aromatics proportion in the feedstock of unit, the content of heavy aromatics can be raised up to 15%, and the conversion rate can reach 75%.
