Oxidation Catalyst Maleic anhydride catalyst c

Overview of product performance and technical characteristics

Maleic anhydride catalyst BC-118H is an ex-situ activating catalyst developed by Sinopec Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry and Catalyst Beijing Auda Division for producing maleic anhydride with the method of selective oxidation of benzene on fixed bed. The catalyst is a new rare earth V205-MoO3 catalyst with its active component being coated on inert circular carrier. Currently, the catalyst is being applied in many domestic maleic anhydride production units. The catalyst has a list of technical characteristics as below.

High activity and high benzene conversion per pass (98%-100%);

Excellent selectivity and maleic anhydride weight yield ≥91%;

Low reaction temperature, 343-360˚C of molten salt temperature and 430-460˚C of normal start-up temperature;

Excellent thermostability;

Long service life (≥ 2 years).
