‍‍To improve the product yieldof catalytic cracking units, Yangzi Petrochemical, SINOPEC Research Instituteof Petroleum Processing and SINOPEC Catalyst Co., Ltd. (SCC) jointly developed thenew anti-vanadium heavy-oil cracking catalyst. At present, the catalyst hasbeen successfully applied in the catalytic cracking units of YangziPetrochemical for two years. Compared with conventional catalysts, the newcatalyst has helped increasing the gasoline yield by over 2%.

The application results showthat the catalyst has excellent resistance to vanadium pollution, and canensure high yield of value-added products from catalytic cracking units,especially the significant improvement of gasoline and propylene yield, whichhas made positive contributions to the improvement of customers' benefit.
