Recently, SCC(SINOPEC Catalyst Co., Ltd.) established the Catalyst Preparation TechnologyResearch and Design Institute in Beijing to accelerate the building of a worldclass catalyst company with the characteristics of technology based and serviceoriented as well as advanced green manufacturing.

The Institute is mainly to research the engineering technology for catalystpreparation, focus on solutions to the optimization and upgrading of productionequipment and technologies, and achieve the optimization of production processtechnology, clean production technology and waste catalyst treatment technologyand industrial transformation of new technologies and products. Theestablishment of the Institute is expected to further improve the overallpreparation engineering technology of SCC to satisfy the demand of the marketfor stable and high-quality catalyst products.
