On September 21 to 23, 2016, SINOPEC International Conference on Catalysis Technology (SinopecCatCon) was held in Dalian successfully. The theme of this conference is “Innovating Impels the Future, Catalyzing Improves the World”. Over 140 overseas representatives from more than 60 companies participated in this conference.

SinopecCatCon is sponsored by SINOPEC Catalyst Co., Ltd., Research Institute of Petroleum Processing, Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals, Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology and Shanghai Research Institute of Chemical Industry.

The conference was hosted by the general manager of SINOPEC Catalyst Co., Ltd., Gu Songyuan. Academician Li Dadong and He Mingyuan, foreign expert Lappinen and other 3 specialists gave the key note speeches. The experts from both home and abroad conducted special sessions of chemical and oil refining, and also held workshops for some hot issues to carry out deep discussion. After the conference, some overseas customers visited the catalyst manufactures, carried out further discussions and obtained fruitful results.
