Recently, presided over by SINOPEC Science andTechnology Department, the Technical Appraisal Conference on the “Experiment onIndustrial Application of the Technology for Biological Treatment ofAmmonia-containing Wastewater of Catalysts” was held jointly by SINOPEC Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum andPetrochemicals and SCC.

The participating experts believe that the technology is currently in a leadingposition at home and internationally, in terms of removing COD and ammonianitrogen from the sewage, especially the overall nitrogen removal capacity, andits application should be speeded up.
