Recently, the “development and application of efficient and environment-friendly aromatic hydrocarbon technology” was granted with special prize of National S&T Progress Award. The project was jointly completed by SCC and RIPP.

The scientific research of the project focuses on core technology of aromatics. The striking point is the breakthrough at PX adsorption separation technology. The key point is the technique for preparation of high-performance PX absorbent, including the method for synthesizing high absorption molecular sieve, molding the special adsorbent and after-treating the adsorbent.
