The world leading BTA catalyst produced by SINOPEC Catalyst Co., Ltd. with the technology from SINOPEC Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology was applied in SINOPEC Shanghai Gaoqiao Branch. It replaced the imported similar catalyst and offered financial benefit to the customer.

To eliminate the production cost, BTA-series catalyst was tested on the side line of isopropyl benzene plant in Gaoqiao Branch. After the expected goal is achieved, the BTA catalyst passed the technical appraisal organized by the experts from SINOPEC headquarters, this shows that the performance of BAT catalyst reaching the international advanced level.
