Recently, a project of “Development and Application of Prolific Propylene and Isobutylene FCC Cocatalyst” participated by Sinopec Catalyst Co., Ltd. has passed the technical identification organized by SINOPEC Science and Technology Development Department.

The calibration data show that LPG production and concentration of propylene and isobutylene in catalyzed products are increased, while the olefin content in gasoline is reduced, the value of octane is slightly increased and the diesel yield is declined. It means that the technology is overall in the leading position.
