Recently, the third-generation FCC gasolineselective hydrodesulfurization catalyst produced by SINOPEC Catalyst Co., Ltd.achieved first successful industrial application in the selectivehydrodesulfurization unit of Changling Refinery.

With continuous improvement of gasolineproduct quality, it is urgent to use gasoline selective hydrodesulfurizationcatalyst with better performance to meet China V gasoline product standard. Thethird-generation FCC gasoline selective hydrodesulfurization catalyst isapplicable to the production of China V gasoline. The industrial experimentproves that the catalyst has higher desulfurization activity. It can be used toproduce gasoline with sulfur content less than 10 microgramme/g but keepingless octane loss, better adaptability of raw materials, and stabledesulfurization activity and selectivity. The catalyst has a higher cost performance and broad application prospect.
