The ultra-deephydrodesulfurization catalyst for diesel developed by SINOPEC Fushun ResearchInstitute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals is produced by SINOPEC Catalyst Co.,Ltd. The catalyst is now being applied in the diesel hydrogenation units of SINOPECQingdao Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. to significantly reduce the sulfurcontents and obviously increase the cetane value in the diesel products, thusensuring that the diesel products could reach the national standard V.Recently, this industrial application project has passed the technicalidentification organized by the Department of Science and Technology, SINOPEC.
