New Molecular Sieve Series Effectively Improves the Performance of Catalyst

New molecular sieve seriesinnovatively developed by Sinopec Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals-thetechnology provider of Sinopec Catalyst Co., Ltd., has effectively improved theactivity and selectivity of hydrocracking catalyst and the processing capacityof hydrocracking units of oil refining enterprises and significantly improved thequality of products. Recently this technology has passed the technicalidentification organized by the Department of Science and Tecnology, Sinopec.

The use of new catalysticmaterials has ensured comprehensive improvement of the performance of hydrocrackingcatalyst. Based on new molecular sieve series, by combining with thecharacteristics of hydrocracking reaction, the scientific researchers developednew-generation hydrocracking catalysts. This catalyst series has significantlyimproved the priority conversion capacity of polycyclic heavy aromatichydrocarbons in feed oil, and obviously enhanced the capability of rich paraffinhydrocarbons in unconverted oil. The industrial applications show that withthis catalyst series, enterprises can produce hydrocracking tail oil with lowerBUCI value, heavy naphtha with higher potential aromatic content, high-quality 3#jet fuel and clean automobile diesel, etc.
