The project—“Research and Application of S Zorb Catalyst Activity Evaluation Model for Desulphurization Devices”undertaken by the technical licensor of Sinopec Catalyst Company has passed the technical evaluation by Sinopec headquarters recently. By taking a variety of characterization means, the root cause of the deactivation of catalyst has been finally found. And this has provided a basis for the optimization of catalyst preparation process. The catalyst activity modeling can help judge the activity of catalysts effectively and guide reasonable regeneration and replacement of the catalyst. The evaluation experts give the conclusion that this technology is innovative and reaches the advanced internationally level.
