The selective regulation technology of selective hydrodesulfurization catalyst of catalytically cracked gasoline (RSAT) developed by the Research Institute of Petroleum Processing, the technology supplier of SINOPEC Catalyst Company, passes the evaluation by the SINOPEC headquarters recently.
RSAT technology is a pre-processing technology that may strengthen the selectivity of the catalyst and obviously improve the desulfurization selectivity of the catalyst. The pilot-scale research indicates that compared with the regular approach, the technology may reduce the loss of octane value in producing the gasoline with sulfur content of the National Standard 5. It is also favorable in suitability to the raw oil that when processing the MIP gasoline with more sulfur content or the gasoline mixed by MIP gasoline and FCC gasoline, it may reduce the loss of octane value while lowering the sulfur content.
It is recognized by experts that RSAT technology is quite innovative and contains the independent intellectual property right. The catalyst processed by adopting such technology is very stable in the activity and selectivity that it may fulfill the demand of the industrial equipment for the long-term steady running.
