After one month optimization adjustment, selectivity of new silver catalyst applied in Tianjing Petrochemical’s original ethylene glycol unit has been raised to 82.6%. It marks the success of the first industrial application of the new silver catalyst.

It is reported that after using the new silver catalyst, material consumption of the ethylene glycol facility has been decreased by 8 kilograms per ton. And 600 tons of ethylene will be saved under the same operating condition every year.
