No.3 jet fuel produced at Sinopec Zhenhai Refinery, adopting liquid-phase hydrogenation process，has passed the combined test from National Aviation Oil Appraisal Committee and has been allowed to mass production.
The jet fuel liquid phase hydrogenation technology is a clean fuel production technology. In July of this year, a hydrogenation unit at Zhenhai refinery was transformed into liquid-phase jet fuel hydrogenation unit which with capacity of 700,000 T/Y. The unit is using SCC hydrogenation catalyst, with flexible process, that meets not only the requirements of aviation kerosene hydrogenation, but the requirements of gasoline selective hydrogenation.
