Sinopec 2nd International Technical Conference on Petrochemical Catalyst (SITCPC) was held in Suzhou from September 15 to 18, 2010. The conference focus on recent development of catalyst researches in polyolefin and basic organic raw materials fields. Delegates of 47 companies from 17 countries and areas attended the SITCPC.
Senior Vice President, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Mr. DAI Houliang gave a Theme Lecture with the title “Innovation and Cooperation for the Sustainable Development of Petrochemical Industry”
The Vice Director General of Technology & Development, Mr. Wang Yuqing offered the Opening Speech.
The President of Sinopec Catalyst Company, Mr. Tan Wenfang presided the opening ceremony.
Dr. Qiao Jinliang (Vice Presidnet of BRICI), Dr. Wang Rongwei (Vice Chief Engineer of SRIPT) and Dr. Bill Gustafsson (Chief Scientist of Borealis) offered the Keynotes on Polyolefin and Basic Organic Raw Material Technology.
Experts and Scholars from BRICI, SRIPT, RIPP, BRICI-YANSHAN, CHEMSPEED, CMR, GRACE, PQ Group, SAINT-GOBAIN NORPRO, GTC, SCG Group gave the presentation on Polyolefin Catalyst and Basis Organic Raw Material Catalyst Technology and Application.
There are totally 200 delegates attending the SITCPC. The next SITCPC will be held in 2014.
