“Whole Set Energy Saving Technology in Catalytic Cracking Catalyst Production” undertaken by RIPP and SCC has won the First Prize of Technical Progressing Award set up by Sinopec Group. It is appraised as a technology reaching the international level.

Compared with similar technology at home and abroad, the new technology has got a great break through in molecular sieve preparation process. The industrial application of the new technology has shown that the energy consumption of catalyst production and production costs are greatly decreased. And the catalyst productivity is significantly improved. The technology also provides a design basis for new catalytic cracking catalyst production facilities.

At present, the energy-saving technology is already employed by the Sinopec Catalyst Qilu Division.
