After 5 years construction, the first phase of the Huizhou Refinery Project with a capacity of 10 million tons/year oil processing ability was put into production in April this year. By the end of June, all the facilities have been operated very well and qualified products are obtained. In the project, the catalysts for the medium pressure and high pressure hydro-cracking and catalytic-cracking are provided by Sinopec Catalyst Company.

Sinopec Catalyst Company paid high attention to the technical service for the relevant facilities in the Project. A project team and a specialist team are formed to be fully responsible for the Huizhou Refinery Project of CNOOC.  During the period, the project team focuses on the organization, the guidance and the coordination etc. It is responsible for the production, transportation and the loading of the catalyst. It made efforts to get everything in accordance with the specification of the Sinopec Catalyst Company and the requirement of the customers. The specialist team is set up in the plant site. It collaborates with the technical supporting institutes to be responsible for the technical affairs. It is composed of the technical personnel from Sinopec Catalyst Company. It focuses on the operation, the regulation, the check, and the summarization of the whole process and the whole procedure. It offers the guidance to the loading and the using of the catalysts. On the basis of the efforts from all the service peoples, the facilities loaded with the catalyst from Sinopec Catalyst Company proceeded according to the project schedule. The Refinery Company and the Huizhou Project Group of the CNOOC are quite happy about the consequences. Sinopec Catalyst Company was awarded the honorable title of “The Excellent Supplier for the Huizhou Refinery Project of CNOOC”.
